1970 Ford Torino 500 You are bidding on a very nice Ford Torino 500 coupe, this car is about half way through restoration and I chose to start with the mechanical part of the car first. I have been through most everything and the car runs and drives great. I started by adding a new 351 windsor had it bored .30 over, I used the factory headers and added an Edelbrock aluminum intake and a new 600 cfm carb. The motor has a mild cam and runs fine on pump gas "nothing radical" this is a driver. It has a C4 tranny that shifts firm, I also added factory GT taillights and classic Cragar rims. The body is in pretty good shape no major rust, I have done some body work and fresh paint, it is currently primer black with lime green accents. The interior is ok but the front seat needs to be recovered and a new headliner is needed, the dash shows some wear and could use some attention but all in all everything is here to make it complete. This is a one owner car with just over 65,000 original miles on it and it did come from the factory with a 302.
