1999 Dodge Durango I am selling my Durango for a bid starting at $1500. That is a good price for this 4 wheel drive SUV with a little over 140,000 miles on it. I take good care of it... getting oil changes regularly, checking all the fluids and general maintenance. It is a good car, I get a lot of compiments about it. I am going to list as much as I can about the car. The Exterior The exterior of the SUV is dark blue. There is a dent on the passenger side of the car and a few small scratches in the paint from my dog. Also the bumber has a few rust spots. It is not bad, I took some pictures of the rust and the dent in the car. I just replaced the back windshield wiper, but I have not used it in a while so it stopped working. The front wipers work great, but they will need to be changed out soon. The tires are all pretty new, even the spare tire is new. Interior The interior looks great. It has dark blue leather seats and plenty of room. I did notice a rip in the side of the seat. It is not very noticeable... I just noticed it the other day. I took a picture of it. The rest of the interior looks real nice. On the roof of the car is a display that tells you the temperature, miles per gallan you are getting, direction you are going, and other stuff. There is also a compartment for your sun glasses and another small compartment on the roof of the car. In the back is an area under the floor in the trunk that you can keep some stuff in too. I am going to keep the tire changing things in there when I sell the car. The back seats easily fold up to seat people or down to create a flat bed. The AC and heat work great as well as all the gadges and everything. Mechanics The Check Engine light is on. I had it plugged in at Auto Zone to see what the problem was and it said that it could be a vacuum leak on the engine, a dirty throttle body, a defective IAC valve, or poor electrical connection to the IAC valve. I replaced the IAC valve and cleaned the throttle body. The car is running fine after that. We never cleared the code to get the light to come off, but I believe the problem is fixed. The battery is new and my dad did some modifying to make sure that the connection to the battery is good. Audio The AM/FM radio works great. The channels always come in clear to me. It has a CD player and a clock and everything works great. However, there are a few busted speakers that I havent fixed. The front speakers sound great so I just use the ones in the front and it sounds good. All in all it is a good car for the price. It needs a little work, but nothing to bad. There is a $500 deposit for the winner to pay within 48 hours of the auction ending. After I recieve the deposit, the winner can pick the car up and pay the rest in cash.
