I HAD THIS ON EBAY EARLIER AND IT SOLD BUT THE SALE NEVER HAPPENED SO HERE IT IS AGAIN. Interesting! This car is in very good shape for it’s year. It only has a little over 102,000 miles on it and it is strong. GM got into the diesel automobile business in the late 70s. They didn’t know what they were doing but by 1980 they were begining to catch on. In 82 they started building their 6.2 diesel for their pickups and Suburbans but by then the public had lost confidence in GM’s Oldsmobile line of diesels for cars. That is one reason this car is so special. The engine in this car is good. It has the head studs instead of bolts and the crankshaft bolts are longer and stronger. Understand that this car is not for everyone. If I had a garage or if I lived in warmer climate, I wouldn’t be selling it. Even in the coldest weather so far this year it has started but its block heater must be turned on at least three hours before starting. If not, it has a hard time starting. There are some problems. In the passenger side just forward and below the front door handle there is a dent. On the drivers side both doors have small dents in them. The entire car could be repainted. The roof isn’t real bad but it is not new. Even though this car was garage kept for years it is not perfect. The headline was bad and we replaced it. The front shocks were worn but they were replaced them as were the trunk struts. Mileage is good for the size of engine and car. The worst I have ever had is 23 MPG with mixed driving. The best is 27.5 on a 250 road trip. Ask questions. Local pickup unless the buyer would like it delivered. Thanks, Steve
