I am selling a 1983 vw pickup with a good running diesel engine and a five speed transmission.The truck runs good and drives good but it is not new.I will list the bad and good just to give you an idea of what it needs and what it does'nt. I will start with the bad it rides stiff it needs new front struts,it does have some rust but not ate up either i tried to take photos of the worst places.The topper needs a new hydraulic cylinder the lid will not stay up by itself.The shifter could probably use bushings hard to find 1st. and reverse unless you are familier with it.The headliner is gone i would say it was sagging and someone ripped it out the backing is still there.Passenger tailight lens is broken.The left front fender has been replaced and is primer gray it was that way when i bought it. The good odometer and speedometer both work gauges work ebrake works good.Tires are like new and are on alluminum 14in.wheels.Battery is brand new also and the interior is in good shape.Truck has topper with the rear sliding glass and the timing belt was recently replaced.The truck also has a working block heater and a like new spare tire.The floor boards are solid and the heater works very well and so does the radio.The engine and trans are out of a lower mileage car.On Mar-04-11 at 11:29:19 PST, seller added the following information: Somw people have asked for some pics of the strut towers and the rear spring mounts and rear shock mounts so i uploaded some new pics today.
