This has been a fun father son project, we live in a small town and it has been driven every where cant go real far didstances as it still retains it original gears and they are steep!!!!! dont know exactly what they are but guessing 456's???? at 55 mph it is at abot 3k on the tachometer. Engine and trans are re-built out of a 66 mustang, has 2bbl Holley avenger carb, electric fan truck runs 185 deg could use a shroud. New everything on the engine and trans both prob have 4k miles on them LOKAR shifter. Goes down the road pretty straight for a 50 yr old truck. Steering wheel is real neat out of a 60's thunder bird actually clear on the bottom of it, connecting rod fabricated as steering colum holder. Needs cab corners, battery is under the hood, but the original batterry holder in the floor is actually in good shape. floors are pretty nice couple of small patches, doors appear to be nice, fender look nice might have some filler by the front tops??? under the seat is rock solid. We have not touched the body so the rust present is what i assume is all that is there it sits out side so you would think patched rust would come through fast and nothing has. . Box is pretty solid needs new bed wood thats why plywood is in there but everything is present under it. Exhaust is newer, needs new exhaust dounuts at the manifolds, but it is nice new alumnized exhaust all the way out the back of the truck. Has a massive amount of leaf springs in the rear OMG!!!! there must be like 15 on each side look at pics. please ask questions as im by no means an expert on these trucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it looked neat so we bought it and had some fun. got plenty of pics so just ask. All the glass is nice exept for the passenger door glass it is cracked wing windows have that bubbling in the glass front and rear window VERY NICE. well thats about all i can think of any questions please call 402-690-2279 thanks!!!!!
