You are looking at a beautiful1953 Ford F 100 Pick Up. This all steel truck is in GREAT condition. It runs and drives great, is dialed in and turns heads whether cruising at 70 mph with the A/C on or standing still while on display at a local meet. This truck is best described as a “Restomod.” It was professionally restored with modern running gear and has been adult maintained and only driven occasionally on the weekends. As you can see, it is always washed, waxed, detailed, garaged and covered after each drive. DRIVETRAIN: The truck is powered by a small block MOPAR that boasts the high flow stock heads, an Edelbrock Torker II intake manifold and matching Performance Series 4 barrel carburetor. The motor is mated to a recently rebuilt, performance minded 904 transmission that shifts tight with the Pistol Grip Hurst Shifter and limited slip rear end. You may have noticed the red button on top of the Hurst shifter. This button activates a line-lock for the front brakes. All this thunderous power can be heard rumbling down the road via its Flowmaster mufflers. Although it has NEVER been down a drag strip, I would venture to say it has near 275-300 hp and would run somewhere in the high 15s. This not some cobbled together, bench seat, straight axle, pizza sized steering wheel truck. If you are an entry level buyer, this truck is probably not for you. If you are looking for a high quality, safe and great handling truck, then read on. SUSPENSION: The front mopar torsion bar suspension was professionally grafted and has power front disc brakes. This truck drives straight, is tight and stops on a dime. Like mentioned above, it is dialed in and can comfortably cruise at 70-80 miles per hour with only one finger on the steering wheel. PAINT: The paint is a beautifully laid DUPONT deep midnight blue that will literally stop people in their tracks. LOOK CLOSELY! The Ghost Flames are tastefully understated on both the front hood/quarter panels and on the MATCHING fiberglass Tonneau cover. The truck is by no means a trailer queen and there are some small chips and scratches associated with weekend usage. You may also notice the truck has no door handles on the outside of the truck. It was built as a smoothie. The doors can be opened by way of the wireless remote. Check it out...the paint is so deep that in the side view picture of the truck you can actually see the reflection of my house! INTERIOR: This truck sports bucket seats and a center consol. It has power windows, power front disc brakes, a Hurst competition shifter, fully functioning lighted gauges and an Auto meter tachometer.
