Lowered reserve It's a 1965 Comet Caliente in Tiffany Blue. They made 6,035 convertibles that year - 1,250 had bucket seats and about half of them had the 289-2bbl-200hp, C-4 automatic like this one. It has NOS seat covers for front and rear, new white top, well-liner, back window, two boots (one white and one blue-green) and new carpet - all in boxes in the trunk. It runs, but it's been sitting for quite a while, so I wouldn't want to drive it very far without a little nurturing. I rebuilt the power steering control valve and carburetor, put a new fuel pump on it, sealed the gas tank and put in a new fuel gauge sending unit. I replaced the front fender extensions. All the lights work, the radio works and it doesn't leak anything. It has some bondo, but it's solid. The pictures were taken a couple of years ago. It's been sitting covered up outside for most of the time since, so it's dirty right now. With a little time and care, these cars are fetching $15k finished and painted.
