It is in overall great condition. I recently purchased it from a BMW mechanic. It was his daily driver for 4 years when decided to put it up in storage. He bought a Honda that got better mileage as he was driving 60 miles a day. He was a BMW enthusiast so he decided he wanted to build a sunday track car to take to BMW events and shows. He started by pulling the engine out and rebuilding it from the bottom end all the way up. At 135,000 miles the car had no problems but with the changes and future mods such as a DINAN supercharger he wanted to build it up Heavy Duty. He had a unexpected child coming, and had no health insurance so unfortunetly he had to sell the car, and never installed the supercharger/intercooler. I've listed below everything that was done to the car. All though it is built up to be able a bunch of extra power the car drives and runs reletivly stock. The pictures pretty much speak for themselves, this was orginally a California car for most of its life so the body has absolutly no rust anywhere, this car is clean as a whistle. It has never been in an accident, although it does show some signs of some paint refreshening, it has overall above average paint with no hail damage or door dings. It has a key mark like somthing was dragged across the truck lid, and there is a small ding above the fuel lid, that can probably be easielly be removed with PDR. There is also some missing paint on the bottom of the front bumber cover. The bumper cover is also missing the original foglights, They were removed because they were crack and never replaced. They are only a few bucks on Ebay or Bavarian Autosport catalog. The key doesnt work very well in the doors, I think they need lubed up by a body shop or lock smith. There is a dime size of surface rust on the lower right corner of the truck lid, it is not all the way through. As far as electronics everything works excellent on the car but the cruise. It has not worked since i've owned it. The interior is in great shape with only a few tears in the back window deck. The latch on the glovebox is broke, i will include one with purchase. The Famous VADER seats are not torn at all and are in awesome condition. Also no cracks in dash, door panels, or consol. The tires were new last year with very few miles on them maybe 8,500. This car is very fast and is a blast to drive, it has not been torn up or ever raced. The reason why i'm selling it is my need for a truck which i have already purchased so this car needs to go. It is in great overall condition with only needing a few minor things. This car would make a dependable daily or Sunday driver. It would also make a great track car with all the power you could put to it. As of right now i'm still get between 24-26 mpgs on the highway. Everthing about this car is structually sound and still tight. This car is sold as is where is, and due is a deposit of $250 within 48 hours of auction end.
