Vehicle Detail
If you don't win the bid for this extraordinary bike, then buy the same make and model. Seriously, this is the best bike I've ever had, and I still can't believe I have to let it go before I even had a chance to really ride. If I ever get another chance to own a motorcycle, I will definitely buy this make and model. I used to be a big fan of the GS1100, but the F800GS handles so much better, brakes faster, and accelerates like a rocket. It's like an extension of your body. The engineering that they put into this bike is truly mind-blowing. I've played with plenty of high-tech military toys, but I've never been this impressed with any machine (or person, for that matter). This bike is tight, clean, and has never been in a wreck or even laid down. The only parts that have ever touched the ground are the tires and the kickstand. I bought it less than two years ago, and no one else has touched her (no passengers, and certainly no other riders). It has travelled just 2134 miles (none off-road), and even though it has never had a single glitch, I have had two tune-ups done because I pre-paid for a maintenance plan. This bike has been lovingly kept in a garage, and it has only been in the rain once. Please take care of this remarkable machine. (Not that BMWs need much care. They're tough as nails, need very little maintenance, and built to withstand bad weather. I never got a chance to put this particular bike to the test, but I know BMWs.) Condition: Excellent Features: All the typical BMW features: ABS, heated hand grips, center stand, etc. Also, there is a 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty (expires 3-15-2012) and a pre-paid Priority Maintenance Plan at Oklahoma City BMW (expires 3-15-2012). History: I bought it new from the Oklahoma City BMW dealership. PS: Sorry, but I actually had to take the photos before I got a chance to really clean the bike. Those small white splotches you see on the front and on the windshield are now washed off. The paint is intact, and there are no dents or dings.
