UP FOR BID IS a 1982 Honda Gold Wing Aspencade GL 1100A. Runs good, new tires and other work done at 24,555 miles. Electric start, excellent exhaust, brakes are new and is ready to ride. Cycle has only minor imperfections you would expect in a bike of this age, seats are aged but have no rips or tears in the seats. This would be perfect for someone looking to ride or a mint restoration because of the shape it's in now. A minor tune up would be beneficial, a tune up and other work was completed at 24,555 miles and I have the paperwork. The actual known miles is now at 26,770 so the tune up was done 2,215 miles ago at a qualified dealership in Madison, WI. Cost for all parts and labor came to $1,350.78. The bike has has hardly been ridden over the years due to job requirements but has been kept in a temperature controlled garage and was never left sitting outside. No oil or fluid leaks of any type. Your basic "clean" motor as well. Intercom system is in working order, intercom helmet attachments are not included. NEW FRONT AND REAR TIRES BALANCED TIRES NEW REAR BRAKE PADS CHANGED OIL AND FILTER ADJUSTED VALVES CHECKED BRAKES, TIRES AND SUSPENSION CHECKED LIGHTS AND SWITCHES ADJUSTED AND LUBED CABLES AND PIVOT POINTSCHANGED REAR DRIVE OILREPLACED AIR FILTERREPLACED NGK SPARK PLUGSCHECKED STEERING AND FASTENERSCLEANED CARBS AND INSTALLED REBUILD KITSADJUSTED AND SYNCED CARBSFLUSHED FUEL TANK FLUSHED AND BLED BRAKE SYSTEMS AND REPLACED BRAKE FLUID FLUSHED COOLING SYSTEM AND REPLACED WITH COOLANT People will think you repainted the motor, put it that way. But, it's just the way it looks, naturally. There is slight flaking on the two valve cover chrome and cover for the timing belts, but nothing to fret about. No shaking, wobbling, or anything else. Windshield is usable but not perfect, sometimes the radio "cuts out" but the cassette tape player works, rear center light has about a two inch hole in the plastic. The bike is washed in the photo and is in very nice shape, but I did not wax or polish so some great potential if you spend a day detailing this bike. I would say all chrome, aside from needing some light polishing is above average. Trying to describe a used bike and please everyone is impossible, should be pretty self explanatory. It looks great to me, this is Heavy and very nice, used~well cared for older bike, not a brand new bike.
