This car is a C6 Z51 coupe that has been rebuilt with Z06 parts, pretty much everything I can tell except the motor. The unique thing about this beautiful car is that it has the wide stance and mean look of the ZO6 with automatic paddle shift transmission and removable targa top. Automatic transmission and removable top are not available on the ZO6. In the interest of full disclosure, carfax reports that this car was declared a total loss in October 2009 with a history impact of -$1040 (this report was run in October 2010). However, Autocheck reports no accidents. The person I bought it from insists that the title is clear as did his banker when I picked up the title. The Texas title did not say salvage, nor does the North Dakota title that I obtained when I transferred it to my name. I suspect that the car was in an accident and rebuilt with the ZO6 parts. OEM ZO6 parts include front and rear body fenders with louvers, front bumper, wheels, tires, brakes, suspension, and embroidered seats. The person I bought it from said these parts would cost approximately $12,000. The car also has a JL audio amp and 10-inch subwoofer with a bose system that sounds amazing. I had a full inspection done at the local Chevrolet dealership. They found everything to be in excellent shape except the heads-up display and rear wheel bearings which I had replaced. Having said all that, the car is a real head-turner and is fast and fun to drive. I had the paint professionally buffed, and then I have applied 6 coats of Zainos polish so it looks like a mirror! I also had the exhaust tips polished. I added the red pinstriping last month which I think looks great, but could be easily removed if you wish. There are a few minor scratches that are pretty hard to see unless you know where they are and look close. I would replace the tires soon if keeping it as they are less than half-tread. I am selling because now that I have had a taste of Corvette excitement, I am hoping to purchase a new one.
