POLICE SEIZED VEHICLE You are bidding on a vehicle that was seized and subsequently forfeited as the result of a criminal investigation. The vehicle was seized during the winter of 2007. The vehicle has not been driven for over three years. There is no damage to the exterior or interior of the vehicle. The vehicles body and interior or in very good condition. A used battery was placed in the BMW on 2/15/11 and the vehicle started right up and was driven (slowly) on the lot. The vehicle was run again on 2/17/11. There is a tapping sound and a power steering fluid leak. The letters on the digital odometer and message center are difficult to read. The tires appear to be in good condition. The mileage appears to be 149,000. The original investigative file indicated 148,622. It is unkown what is needed to get the vehicle road worthy. The vehicle will need to be towed. I strongly recommend interested bidders to come look at the vehicle prior to bidding. Appointments can be made by emailing me with a return phone number. The BMW is being sold "AS IS".
