Vehicle Detail

I bought this car in January of 2010.. I spent six months fixing and restoring the car. .and I spent the last 8 months driving it. It is the most amazing car I have ever owned. This is a 1984 with a 4.7 V8 and automatic transmission. I replaced all gaskets including head gaskets, I had a valve job done, where larger European spec Valves were installed and I installed European spec Camshafts with higher lift and a much longer duration. The heads were ported and polished.. I installed larger headers from a newer 928 with larger ports and stainless steel construction. I also installed custom exhaust. that sounds amazing. The water pump, timing belt, all tensioners, and cam gears were replaced. All seals including front main were replaced I also port polished the aluminum intake tubes and heads. It has a new air filter and new fuel filter installed. Every part and bolt under the hood was meticulously cleaned. I rebuilt the power steering pump and alternator, and replaced all belts. I replace some of the hoses. I replaced the front and rear brake pads. The previous owner installed a Blapunkt stereo system and leather Recaro racing seats they match the black interior perfectly. The last owner also just had it repainted within a year of selling it to me, it has since suffered a few minor scratches, and one small scrape near the bottom edge of the driver fender, also a chip on the edge of the sun roof. This car is a great daily driver, and needs nothing else done mechanically to keep it going down the road for along time. The car has well over 360hp and is capable of doing 165 + mph. The odometer quit working while I was driving the car in 2010, but the receipts I have from previous owner show 78.xxx in late 09. I have installed a garmin GPS in front of the old speedo. I also installed new suspension bushings all around and the tires are in fair condition. This Car sold for 60,000 new which is about 130,000 in today's money. The value of the car will only go up from here. I have approximately 4000 dollars worth of receipts from the lady who I bought it from, and I have spent about the same myself. Thank you for reading. 423-748-1165 call with any questions. I added some more pictures of the engine rebuild, included are pics of the porting before and after, you can see the stock gaskets allowed for this, and it matches perfectly with the 1985 manifolds. Also, I forgot to mention the AC works good.On Feb-23-11 at 09:03:08 PST, seller added the following information: I should mention that the power windows, sunroof, front and rear wipers, and head lights all work, although the sunroof moves a little slow. How ever the power antenna and spray for the windshield do not work. And I want to clarify when I say that the exhaust sounds amazing I don't mean 16 year old teenager amazing. It has a nice deep tone, but not too loud. Please bid with confidence, If you don't like the car when you see it, I won't make you buy it. Please contact me with any questions. And of course if your in the area you are welcome to come see the car. Thank you.
