1967 Triumph Tiger

Up for auction is a freshly rebuilt 1967 Triumph Tiger 100 flat tracker. Built as an homage to Joe Leonard's legendary Triumph 500 race bike #98 from the early 60's, it's motor (number H44100) has a freshly rebuilt top-end with less than 20 miles since restoration. Other details include... 12 volt battery-less ignition/lighting system, all-new period Bates headlight, tail light and seat, universal tread Dunlop 400x18 rear tire, universal tread 300x21 front tire, polished cases, and freshly painted vintage fiberglass flat track gas tank. The motor is fited with mild TT cams, side "scrambler" pipes, and is carbureted by an oversized Amal 930 with matched manifold/head ports. Built for vintage racing or the street, this bike is super light-weight, starts easily, runs extremely well, and is a very nice handling machine!
