Vehicle Detail

Up for Auction is a 1951 Lincoln Cosmopolitan project car. This Lincoln 337 Flathead does not run at the current time, but the engine is not seized up and includes radiator. Rebuilt carb, and water pumps. Interior is in pretty descent shape. All doors close operate smoothly, There is some rust along the bottom of the rocker panels. Side glass is cracked and needs replacing, but is inexpensive since the glass is flat. Windshield and rear window is in great shape. One of the control bar ends are broken, but can replaced for 75 dollars. All the wheels and hubcaps are in great shape, however you'll need tires. Fender skirts are included, even though they are not on the car. Bumpers are in excellent shape too. This car was last registered in Rhode Island, so in place of a title, is a registration (which is how Rhode Island deals with cars of this age) and you will receive a notarized Bill of Sale, making it easy for you to transfer into your name. This car is located in Manalapan, NJ, and would make a great custom ride, as I intended to do with it, but my interests have shifted elsewhere. This vehicle would be an awesome Rockabilly ride or great for parting out too. Keep in mind that it has a very rare motor!! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask them. $500 deposit is due within 36 hours, and remainder is due within 4 days. I only except paypal for this item. On Feb-17-11 at 19:34:36 PST, seller added the following information:Hey, I also want to ad that the body is very straight. The trim going down the sides are straight. There is rust going along the rockers and fenders. I could say that this could be a parts car, but its way to complete for me to consider it as such. The engine is not seized up, and looks pretty complete. I bought this car off of bay to hot rod for a customer, but we went with a mercury instead. I'm asking for the same amount I paid for it. Good Luck!
