Press Play Below VIDEO ABOVE These legendary SL Roadsters remained largely unchanged cosmetically from their introduction in 1970 to the final production year of 1989. This example showcases original paint throughout along with the original hardtop and black soft top. Always a garaged example, the finish and body show beautifully throughout, with very minor flaws on close inspection. The bright work and trim are in exceptional condition throughout as well. These SL Roadsters, referred to as the W107 series, rode on a 96.7 inch wheelbase. This example rides on its original 15-inch Alloy wheels wrapped in 205/65R15 series Michelin X One radial tires on all 4 corners. The tan interior is in excellent condition, original throughout. The dash is devoid of the typical cracks associated with these cars. This Mercedes-Benz has been garage kept and it certainly shows. This is a non-smoker car as well. The original seats show well throughout, with very minimum wear, true to the 46,857 actual miles logged thus far. The engine compartment is clean and detailed, home to the robust 3.8 liter all-alloy V8 engine. The 1984 model featured a new double roller timing chain that was much more durable and reliable. Closer inspection of the engine compartment reveal clean and detailed inner fenders as well as the firewall and core support. Fly High or Fly Low. Many of our photos were taken at the historical Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum, located only minutes from our Dallas, Texas showroom. The hardtop is in excellent condition. The interior headliner is clean and detailed throughout. The hardtop stand is included. The black factory soft top seals well throughout and is in good condition as well. There are a few imperfects on the top as well, photographed. The body panels are clean and straight throughout, proudly displaying the crisp styling these cars became famous for.
