I have up for bid a beautiful 1987 Chevrolet Silverado. This truck is all original and completely free of rust. The 5.7L 350 ci V-8 run smooth as butter and only has 95k miles on it. NO ROLLOVER. That's right, not 195k, not 295k, only 95k miles. This was the first year of the TBI (throttle-body injection) as opposed to the carburetor. The paint is completely original and looks great for being 24 years old. The bed has never had anything more than furniture hauled in it, so the paint doesn't have a scratch, and it come with a lay-in bed mat. The interior is in equally great shape. The only things not original in the interior are the dash and a 6-disc cd changer which I had professionally installed by Benchmark Audio in Springfield, IL, along with upgraded speakers. The issue with the dash was that it had cracked in a couple places so i got a vinyl cover (matching color) to put over the dash. The tires are in pretty good shape, I'd wager about 50%-70% tread, don't know for sure. I've kept detailed records of maintenance right down to oil change receipts. The drive train and almost every part of the truck are factory original, except for the following: New radiator (with lower hose)water pumpstarterpower window motor (ds)power lock actuator (ps)exhaust with stock type mufflersbrakes (late summer 2010)heater blower motor The transmission fluid could use a flush and filter soon, if I don't get that done before the truck is sold I'll be sure to take that off the price.
