I bought this last summer in mid restoration. It had just been painted, and I re-installed all of the glass, rubber, and trim. I had intentions of continuing the restoration, but it's become my only transportation to work and I don't have time to devote to it anymore. I'm selling it so I can buy a reliable commuter. It's in great shape and is a great start for restoration. I drive it daily ~50 miles. It burns and leaks oil, and overheats at speeds over 55mph. I had plans to rebuild the engine when the weather warms up, but I can't be without a car for the time it would take. Here's what I've done: Tinted rear and side windows (20%) New brake master cylinder, brake lines, and rear slave cylinders. new brake pads and shoes. new battery. new distributor, coil, spark plugs, and wires. Fuel tank removed and cleaned/coated. New mechanical fuel pump. New fuel filler hose and tank sending unit. New shifter w/ short shift riser. Replaced shift rod linkage and bushing. New throttle, clutch, and speedometer cables. New full floorpans. Engine is a 1600cc dual port (AE code on case - 1972). Needs carpet, headliner, and door panels to complete the interior. The odometer and clock do not work, but speedometer and fuel gauge do. Actual mileage is unknown. Email if you need more information or have specific questions.
