If you know anything about cars, you know that the Mazdaspeed6 is no ordinary Mazda. With a 274hp turbocharged engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and all-wheel-drive, this thing scoots down the road and carves up the twisties. The example that you're looking at has been meticulously kept, in the highly sought after Velocity Red with the "sport" cloth interior, which is grey and black with contrast stitching. Service records are available with the car, and the oil has ALWAYS been changed every 3,000-4,000 mi. Additionally, this vehicle has fresh fluids in the gearbox and front/rear differentials as well, along with fresh spark plugs. All factory recalls and service bulletins have been completed (records avail.) and the factory powertrain warranty is in effect until 60k miles. The front tires are nearly new with around 500 mi on them while the rear tires are at about 35%. This car has the factory Bose stereo option with a 6-disc in-dash CD Changer. It also has a factory connector for Sirius satellite radio (I've never installed it, but it is capable). Additionally, it has an iPod adapter that integrates with the steering wheel audio controls and has been cabled to the center armrest. This Mazdaspeed6 has been well maintained and is completely stock except for an aftermarket rear motor mount (the stock one is so flimsy the motor clunks around even under light shifting). At no point has this car been modified in any way. No software/chips, no cold-air intakes, no aftermarket exhaust. It's stock. Additionally, it's never been to the track, autocrossed or any other performance driving event. My wife has been the primary driver, and it's been used mostly for local shopping and trips to see family down in Southern California. The body is clean and free of dents and scratches, with only VERY minor (normal) road pit on the front end, as you'd expect from a vehicle with this mileage. The paint is in excellent condition, regularly detailed, and as you can see in the pictures, VERY shiny. The HID Xenon headlights are extremely bright and the lenses are in excellent condition with no cracks or hazing. I am the second owner, I purchased the car with approx. 27k miles on it from a gentleman who bought it new at Marina Mazda in Capitola, CA. He was a 62 year old business owner who used it as his primary commuting vehicle. He had well over 10 cars, so this one didn't get driven all that much. When the economy took a downturn, he agreed to sell it to me. The only reason that I'm selling is because we have a second child on the way and will be needing a wagon.
