This is a very nice 68 Plymouth GTX 440 , Auto on the floor, p/s,Complete matching #'s car ,motor and tranny ,i checked them myself . Let me start by saying this car was owned by a collector here in Raleigh who only collects nice original unmolested low mileage cars , It has 89000 original miles with original interior, still in very nice cond. ,original body panels and no rust, this car is laser strait and the panel fit is excellent.The paint is great on the car with no trash or orange peel in it,I would rate it about a 8 out of 10 and i am really fussy, The car was repainted its original color in 2005 and the motor and tranny were rebuilt to factory specs., this car runs and drives like new ,there are no issues, the engine does not miss and there are no dead spots in the carburator . That is the only thing done to the car the rest is still original, the underneath is undercoated the way it was when new, the glass in the car is excellent and the windows go up and down fine, there is still a 1978 inspection sticker on the windshield. The wheels and tires are in excellent cond, the engine compartment and trunk are nicely detailed, this car has the light package with fender mounted turn signals, map light ,glove box light and trunk light which all work. All the guages work as well as the tachometer , the only thing that doesnt work on the car is the am/fm radio.The rear axle is a 8.75 3:23 ratio sure grip with no issues,this car is real solid. Also the car does have power steering. In 1968 there were only 16673 GTX hardtops produced.
