Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a rare 1993 Cadillac Sixty Special. The car is in absolutely beautiful shape for its age. It's a Florida car, as the paperwork that comes with the car will attest to, so the winters of central New York haven't had much time to work on rusting the car out; it is nearly rust-free. The interior is also in great shape considering the age. The dash is all-digital and works flawlessly, as does the fuel data center. It has the limited edition wood grain trim interior which is without flaw. The seats are slightly worn, but certainly not heavily so considering the car has 100k miles and is 17 years old. The Sixty Special was the top of the line Cadillac in 1993, and this one even has many of the optional features offered on the 60 special 17 years ago. Trunk lid pull-down, woodgrain dash interior, digital console, and canvas roof to name a few. Wikipedia cites that there were only 849 of these cars made in 1993, and there is no telling how many haven't been sent to junkyards and beyond. On the mechanical side of things, the car seems to run fine and has plenty of power. The 4.9L 200hp V8 will never leave you lacking in traffic or feeling underpowered despite the enormous size and scope of the car. Many things have also been replaced on the car as preparation for me driving it, such as a full tune-up including distributor, distributor cap, spark plugs, fuel filter, and wires. The EGR valve has also been recently replaces, as well as the throttle position sensor and the map sensor. I just purchased the car, but honestly got in a bit over my head. I absolutely love the car, but with the hours I'm getting at work I just can't afford the gas mileage. With these wonderful old Cadillacs you can expect about an average of 17 mpg. Thanks for looking, feel free to send questions. !!!Low Reserve on this auction. Despite the NADA price of $1,612 for average trade-in, I am letting this car go at a minimum of $1000. Average retail can go as high as $3,337 according to NADA.com.
