For sale is a 1968 camaro pro-touring project. Many new parts& lots of Chrome, starting from top to bottom the body has been completely stripped to bare metal and in black primer. The car has a cowl hood with chrome latch, all new floor pans coated with duracoat sealer and trunk pan with aluminum fuel cell and mini tubbed inner fenders built in. All glass is good and has new windshield and windshield stainless steel trim, new quarter glass trim, new door hinges,new ignition, door, trunk and golvebox locks with matching key. Very nice bumpers, new chrome RS grill with hide away headlights does not include motors manually operated. New SS gas cap and some emblems. The interior is original and decent driver quality it has the staple shifter and console, no radio, a tear in one seat, and needs carpet. Underneath the hood it has a 454 out of an early 70's chevelle, it has the good rectangle port large valve heads with roller rockers. Motor came with car do not know much about internals but pretty much everything that bolts on is new. It has new Holley 770 dual line carb, Edelbrock intake, breather, and valve covers, hooker headers, black and chrome one wire alternator, power steering pump, chrome pullies,and brackets, new distributor, cap, wires, & plugs. Cooling is done through a new 4 core aluminum Champion radiator with dual electric fans and chrome radiator supports. The car has a 400 turbo trans with new crossmember and drive shaft. new 2.5" exhaust with 12 inch long glasspacks loud low rumble. The front and rear subframes are tied together to make one completely boxed frame with drive shaft hoop built in, extremely well built frame. The front suspension is also new with disc brakes, new brake booster,& lines it also has new springs, bushings, and steering components. The rear suspension has been upgraded to a 4-link with coilovers and nine inch differential which has new gears locker and wilwood disc brake conversion Thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours spent underneath car. The car runs and drives but is still in the project stage and will have to be hauled. It has already had a lot of time and money spent on it. It has most of the hard work out of the way and some very serious upgrades you wont find on most project cars. What is still needed to finish out the project. Body prep & paint, new interior kit, new weather stripping kit, lights, guages, & electric fans wired, wiper motor installed, front shocks and anti-sway bar, brakes bled out.
