You are bidding on a 1959 Triumph TR3A. It was a California Barn find with 2 owners before me. I bought it for $15,000 in 2006 and did the following: Installed Weber DCOE Carburetors (1 per cylinder) ($1,500) Installed new intake manifold Replaced and adjusted all tappets, pushrods, etc. Installed a Mallory electronic distributor with mechanical advance ($600) http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=32477 Replaced generator replaced all belts, hoses, & water pump Installed Gas Shocks & polyurethane bushings Comes with 5 wire wheels picked up a starter gear reduction but never installed it It has a .410 rear end differential instead of the stock .376 so it has significantly more torque than your normal triumph. This differential is stock, it was an option rarely purchased. Outside of that it is as I found it. While it does run i haven't gotten around to installing the accelerator linkage kit for the new carbs. I also have it's original SU Carbs and distributor in case you want to go back stock. I've loved this car, I bought it because my dad used to always take us to school on the first day in his triumph and I fell in love with the car. However, with a new daughter, I just don't have the time to restore it. It has no dings or dents and a little surface rust by the driver's side door. There are no rust holes or any appreciable rust whatsoever on the under-body.
