RE-LISTED DUE TO ATTEMPTED SCAM!! This 74 Lincoln Town Coupe is a ONE OWNER 58K ORIGINAL MILE CAR! It would be an excellent candidate for a person to tinker with and drive. It has been off the road for a couple of years but would take very little to make mechanically sound. The body: Several rust blisters showing in various areas and under the vinyl top that has not gotten too far as to turn to rot. Engine and Transmission: Engine seems quiet with no signs of any oil burning with minor leaks. Missing an alternator belt but alternator spins freely and was charging well prior to taking ar off the road. Transmission seems to have developed a leak but did go threw the gears and shift fine and leak appears to be the pan or tailshaft and not the front seal but it's hard to be 100% sure without a lift. Older repaint showing it's age but presentable. Vinyl top: Lifting in several places and deserves to be replaced. Interior: Not bad at all but leather seems to be getting dry in a few spots but is very presentable. Under carriage: flaky is spots but NO ROT! Headlight doors seem to operate as normal. This is probably not a car you can register, put gas in and drive without some minor mechanical attention, however that is NOT saying this car is a basket case or major restoration by any stretch either. Alternator belt, tune up, trans leak and should be OK.Too many people asked if they can fly in and drive it home 200 or more miles away and I cannot say it's a good or bad idea so please don't ask, I simply cannot answer yes or no.
