Beautiful 1973 Volkswagen Beetle Karmann Convertible Clean Title New Interior New Wheels and tires Great Paint Fresh Tune-up (timing, valve clearance, carb adjustment) 4-speed manual You're looking at a gorgeous, classic San Francisco cruiser. Paint is only a couple years old and looks great, interior is brand new, and the engine purrs - a real head turner. This bug absolutely exudes joy. The VW runs excellent - more power than I've seen in any other bug of this vintage. Engine, transmission and clutch feel excellent. Engine just underwent its standard maintenance (adjustment of the timing, valve clearance, and carborator). The wheels and tires are about 6 months old now, and the battery was replaced last week. As you'll see in the pictures (linked below), the rear window has been replaced (glass, so no yellowing) and the base of the convertible top has been reinforced with new vinyl. When we we're replacing the old window, we noticed the old canvas was getting weak. It's still there, with the added black vinyl for extra protection (this tends to be weak point on convertible tops, as it pinches when the top's down). Top looks great (I think the repair went really well) and does not leak. The car is old enough to avoid smog in California, and I assume that's the case in many other states. Registration was just paid on the car, with fresh stickers. I've set a low reserve on this car, because we're a little bit early for top down season (unless of course, you're on the west coast). I will ship worldwide, and have done so in the past. I can recommend a private shipper that covers the northern half of the US - he's great and affordable. I'll leave the specifics and cost up to you, but am happy to assist. I'll drive the car up to 60 miles from San Francisco to meet your shipper. The car does not disappoint - a great example of a vintage VW. If you're in the northern California area, please contact me for a viewing. Also, if you have any questions for me, I'd be happy to answer via email or phone. Thanks for looking, and best of luck on your search for new beetle! Mike *Please note, the mileage listed is likely incorrect - beetles don't have a 6th digit, so it's likely rolled over. New notes that I forgot to mention when I listed: - New ignition coil, spark plug wires, distributor, points, router. - New battery - No rust! This was a big point I'd forgotten to mention! - I've got the new ownership (clean, in my name) and fresh registration and sticker - can show pictures if you wish. Thanks again for reading.
