1971 LT-1 Corvette. Divorce forces sale. this is the 3rd car I'm selling and the last. I have owned this car for 20 yrs. This is a original Lt-1 . lets go thru the numbers. the block casting number is 3870010, december 23, 1970 casting date, the heads are 3973487, intake is aluminum high rise 3959594, the carb is the 780 holley 4801, 3989021. the alternator is 1100950 42a, the engine pad is C11S106272 V1230CGZ, the distributor is 2038 (TI), the tranny is a M21 and has the VIN stamped into it, the rear end is correct and 3.55 gears it is the heavy duty rear coded for the 454 (which is correct for LT-1's). The distributor on this car has the correct TI numbers but was gutted at some point, and breaker points were installed , the Ti amp is still on the front inner fender (pictures ). this was an original Ontario Orange car , and had the headlights customized, and put in the grill ( I liked the look so I bought it), the hood is a L-88 hood. the rear exhaust panel was modified for round exhaust tips also. This car came with the deluxe interior, and leather seats, there is no power steering, or power brakes, it came with the rear window defroster. the tach works, the E-Brake doesn't, the exhaust has a hole in it , and the brakes are good, this engine runs strong, but does need to be freshened , it fouls plugs on the passenger side. the tires are good, the paint is OK it has some spider webs, and is faded on the rear deck. There is no rust on the frame, the bird cage, or the doors. the car has seen rain maybe once in the last 15yrs. I last had this car registered in 97 or 98 .I bought the car with 66k on the odometer, and put 13k on it, so I believe the mileage is correct. I had been installing the correct radio at the time of the divorce, so I left the dash with no radio. I have a green number radio that I will include.
