1981 VW rabbit p/u 1.6 diesel n/a, 4 spd tranny, 192,395 miles Interior: sony cd player, dash has a couple cracks, i have new instrument panel cover made that needs painted and installed, carpet is worn, driver seat is worn on bottom passenger seat is in good condition Exterior: has scratches but not realy any dents, tires are pretty much new they have about 2000 miles on them, has new cv joints, new clutch, new tie rod ends, new struts, new brake rotor passenger side, new hub passenger side, new wheel bearing passenger side. Motor is out of an '86 jetta, has always run great and got about 42-45 mpg. the head gasket went and i replaced it. the motor starts and runs good but the gasket didnt seat on one side so it leaks coolant. but if someone could fix that problem it should make a good daily driver since it has so many newly replaced parts. also the radiator is out of the 86 jetta and is larger so it has a better cooling capacity, has a new alternator, and new rebuilt injection pump wich probly doesnt even have 2000 miles on it i payed $800 alone for the injection pump to be rebuilt. has new battery. it needs new glow plugs, the starter quit but i have an extra and will take it to orielys to have it tested. this vehicle comes with many extra parts: intake manifold, rebuilt instrument cluster, new struts, new cv joint, radiator and fan, jetta front end with newer cv joints on it, water pump, alternator, starter. the original engine out of the truck( it needs new head gasket and maybe head) feel free to ask questions thankyou On Feb-07-11 at 19:21:35 PST, seller added the following information: i also have a very good rebuilt injection pump off of the 86 jetta i used to own. and the 5sp tranny with shifter and linkage and good flywheel. i could sell these items seperately to the buyer if they wanted when they pickup the truck. u can see them in the pick with all the parts. but these are not included in the auction
