Vehicle Detail

This is a completely restored and ultra clean 1976 Early Bronco. Standard equipment for 1976 Ford Broncos make this a sought after year model. It has the Dana44 front axle, C4 automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes. This one has been taken completely apart and built back up from the ground up with new parts and with great attention to detail! Details: The frame has been powder coated black. The tub was put on a rotisserie, stripped to bare metal, and any rough panels were replaced with new replacement sheet metal, and then everything underneath was coated with bedliner spray. There is ZERO RUST now, and there will be ZERO RUST far into the future with the way this has been done. The truck has custom steel heavy duty front and rear bumpers. All suspension components are new - includes a BCBronco 3.5-inch suspension lift, which is new coils up front and new leaf springs in the rear. Dual Duff shocks are at each corner. The steering linkage is upgraded to BCBroncos heavy duty tubing with heim joints, and the power steering box was rebuilt, all making for no-slop steering. The Dana44 front axle and the Ford 9" rear axle are rebuilt and detailed, they house 3.50:1 gears, the rear has a limited slip differential. All fuel lines are new, there is a new 23gallon upgraded fuel tank in the rear. All brake lines are new, as well as a new power brake booster and master cylinder, and new front disc and rear drum brake parts, all for great braking performance. The engine is a 302 V8, rebuilt and detailed, with an Edelbrock 4 barrel intake, new Holley 600CFM carburetor, and Hedman shorty headers. The engine runs strong. The exhaust is a 2.5" mandrel bent aluminum system with a Magnaflow muffler, 2 into 1, with a 3" out tailpipe. The transmission is the Bronco C4 automatic, the transfer case is a Bronco Dana20, with new front and rear drivelines. 4wheel drive is functional. The tires are 33" X 12.50 x 15 Kuhmo Mud Terrain tires with less than 1000 miles, mounted on 15 x 8 Procomp polished aluminum wheels. Inside - the complete chassis wiring harness has been replaced/upgraded with an aftermarket harness, so there are no electrical gremlins. The entire inside of the tub is all-weather protected using bedliner spray. The dash has been smoothed out, the radio is in the center console, the dash switches are moved down to the bottom face, so it all looks super clean and better than factory. There are 4 bucket seats, clean dark gray upholstery, mounted within a Complete Off Road 6point family cage. The top is a new Wild Horses soft top with removable sides and back windows, the windows are all dark tinted. The exterior has urethane fender flares and a fiberglass cowl hood. The paint is IMMACULATE eye-grabbing red. Again, this Bronco has IMMACULATE paint. This Bronco is easily the cleanest truck you will find, one that can be driven comfortably, performs better than stock, and you can still put it in car shows and have it win its class. This Bronco is still true to its stock form, yet has many great, tasteful, custom details. Everything has been replaced, rebuilt, or cleaned and repainted to perfection. All restoration, paint, and body work has been done by the owner, who has 20+ years in the professional paint/body and restoration industry. With many trophies under his belt with other cars, this Bronco has gained him more than his fair share of trophies as well. I am selling/advertising this for Robert. On Feb-07-11 at 22:39:45 PST, seller added the following information: Have gotten several good questions: -is there a warranty on the engine and transmission? NO warranty. the engine and transmission are not original to this body/frame, but are instead from another 1976 Bronco, and these components had been refurbished by a previous owner, then purchased, cleaned up, and detailed by the current owner. there is no paperwork to pass along to transfer a warranty, nor is there a company/remanufacturer noted. the engine runs strong, compression tests OK, burns no oil. the transmission shifts OK up and down thru the gears and reverse, no slippage, no overheating. come take a test drive or have a service come check it out! but somehow with the colder weather it now has the very slightest trans fluid drip, this is being looked at right now. -axles? the front and rear axles are not the original axles for this body/frame, but were transplanted from a 1977 Bronco, so they are the good disc brake Dana44, and the good big bearing drum brake Ford 9". these had been gone thru by a previous owner, but then closely inspected for any wear issues and cleaned-up/painted by the current owner. again, no known issues, but no warranty either. -can I purchase, fly in, and drive this cross country? Uh. Is your name Magyver, do you have AAA, and did you sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night? Well then sure! But the reality is that it is Winter time and there is still nasty weather to contend with, and this truck has not been across country on a solo trip since being put together, so we will not say DEFINITELY YES to that question out of liability concerns and for your safety. The truck runs great, has all new and refurbished parts, and has no reliability issues to note. But it is still basically a 35yr old truck assembled by a mere mortal. So in good conscience it is suggested to take baby steps with it and become familiar with it over time and work out any bugs, AS THE OWNER, before leaping off on a 1500mile solo journey. Thanks for the inquiries!
