Vehicle Detail
This vehicle DOES NOT have a front bumper on it as it was just sold. Other items that are included in this auction: '68-'69 GS Hood Scoop Grills and backing plates that go under the hood. Dual Snorkel air cleaner for GS, but does not have the plastic ends / cover. Front bumper marker light housings with lenses, bulbs, and pigtails. Hood latch with handle, and driver's side inner wheel well. Door & Trunk Lock Kit is also included. These items alone cost more than the car is listed for currently. ***If you would like to purchase the car just for parts, and would like those parts delivered, we can arrange delivery at an extra cost per mile up to a max of 2,500 lbs.*** This vehicle is located in Smithville Tennessee, 37166 ***I have spent more on the loose parts I have for this car than I am asking for it. This car is in restorable condition. Don't miss the opportunity.*** Up for auction is my 1968 Buick Skylark Special 2 door Hard Top in good restorable condition. Drivetrain: The engine I have for this vehicle is out of a 1974 Buick Lesaber, and it is a 350 cu Buick engine with 96,000 approx. miles. I have two engine mounts, a fuel pump (just in case) and a flywheel. All these parts are new, and the go with the car. I have a 200-4R trans that goes with the car also. Item of note: the drum brakes are frozen due to sitting. Only the passenger rear tire is free, so the car will need to be trailered. I have a winch that can be used to pull the car onto your trailer if you bring a car battery to power it. Body: The body is in restorable condition as shown in the pictures. I have a bunch of used parts for this car. I have one good used inner wheel well for the driver's side (was missing when I bought the car), some interior items, and exterior trim, a good used rear bumper as the original one is shot. I believe I also have four Buick Ralley wheels that go with the car, but will have to check on that. I have some '69 GS hood grills, and some marker lamp housings, and other assorted parts that go with the car. Please make sure to have room in your vehicle for the engine, trans, and all other loose parts. I will assist with loading / lifting the engine and trans, as well as all other parts. The blue colored seats shown on the shelf in the pictures do go with the car, but all other items on the shelf do not, as they are for the '67 Skylark in the other listing. If you have questions, feel free to ask. Usual Auto Banter: Vehicle is sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no warranty expressed or implied. Good Luck with the Bidding! JHMACH1 On Jan-31-11 at 18:13:17 PST, seller added the following information: Hello fellow eBayers. Here is the actual cost of all that goes with the car: Car itself cost me $1,200.00.
