Vehicle Detail
As you can see from the photos, this car really grabs attention. And, it is equipped every bit as well as it looks. It is powered by a nicely built 327 Chevrolet engine hooked to a TH350 transmission. The intake manifold and 4 barrel carb are from Edelbrock. The front end features a Camaro clip and the 10 bolt rear end is also from a Camaro. Dual Flomasters give the exhaust just the right note. The front brakes are disc with drums on the rear. The air-conditioner has had a recent overhaul including a new compressor and blows very cold. Power steering makes for easy driving in tight spots. There are no electrical issues whatsoever, the car has been professionaly rewired with an EZ Wiring harness. The interior features two tone gray custom quality vinyl upholstery on a Glide Engineering split bench seat with arm rest in front, and the original seat in the rear. Retractable seat belts have been installed in front. The dash has been redesigned to accomodate all new VDO Gauges. The AM/FM/CD is a Pioneer unit located in the glove compartment. The original windshield has been replaced with a single piece unit. The wheels are from Cragar, and the tires have about 80% of the tread remaining. The paint shows a high luster, but like most street rods that are driven, there are a few rock chips in the front, and a couple of small surface rust bubbles between the deck lid and the back window on the right side. This car has been listed with a Classic Car Dealer for $26,900. Since my new car is arriving any day now, I am selling it myself with a reserve price less than half that amount. Here's the chance to pick up a "step-up" street rod for the price of a "starter" car. So if you're looking for a very nice street rod that will provide miles of reliable cruising, this just might be the one for you.
