1964 Corvette Roadster. 5 year Frame-off restoration done right. She's originally a 365 hp. 327 c.i. with a muncie close ratio 4 speed and 411 posi rear end . VIN # 40867 S 109869. BODY PLATE # A-14, STYLE 64 867 TRIM 491 N , A 008 940A PAINT. FRAME/SUSPENSION...Sand blasted frame-painted with POR-15,reinforced by adding "67" frame gussets. poly bushings throughout, F-41 front springs, 1 1/8" front sway bar, 7/8 rear sway bar, composite rear spring, offset trailing arms by Van Steel, 4 wheel disc brake conversion dual port master cylinder and stainless steel brake lines by Van Steel, 411 posi unit and steering gearbox rebuilt by, you guessed it ...Van Steel. American racing torque thrust 17" wheels with Michelin pilot sport a/s 225/55 zr17 on the rear and 225/50 zr17 on the front. New fuel tank/sending unit. All electrical harnesses are new ...engine,body and main. INTERIOR...New leather seats, door panels, insulation, padding, carpet, kick panels, gauges sent out and rebuilt, flaming river stainless steel steering column, hurst competition plus retro reverse lock out shifter. EXTERIOR...New- front /rear tail lights and blinkers, racing badges, mirror, door locks and handles, rocker molding, side pipes, windshield and seals, bumpers, fuel door, antenna, grill and trim, "67" 427 Big Block stinger hood, [I have the original "64" hood available also] UNDER THE HOOD...Transmission is the original muncie close ratio, one groove...#3851325. The engine was originally the 327c.i. 365 h.p. When I purchaced the car it had a 350 c.i. 4 bolt crate motor, so thats where I started...There's too many mods and parts too list ...from arp bolt kit to rpm airgap aluminum heads and intake, msd, Headman, Be Cool radiator, March Pullies, 650 Speed Demon, comp cams, fluid balancer, .030 TRW 9.5-1 forged flat top pistons .
