Up for bid is a 1968 Cougar XR-7 big block project car. It has a running 390 and a C-6 transmission with power disc brakes and a 9" rear end . The can be driven with some TLC and some brake work and the timing set or start your own restoration. The car has some rust and body filler See all pictures before you bid. For questions call Mike @ 765-602-3565 The Cougar runs The transmission works fine It sounds like it has an exhaust leak at the donut gasket on one side and it was smoking out of the exhaust. not sure what the smoke is maybe its the valve guide seals in the heads letting the oil drain into the cylinders not sure. As you can see in the pictures the bondo is mostly around the back wheel lips on the quarters. the head lights do open and close properly and the sequential taillights still work as they should and the tach works. If you are looking for a driver you may want the heads to be reworked and a full brake job. The front has had new rotors put on about two years ago and it has sat since so they will need cleaned up or turned and the calipers are stuck so it needs a complete brake job. The Cougar is up for auction agian due to non paying bidder so dont bid if you dont plan to pay.
