This auction is for a 1972 Ford Thunder bird. This T-bird comes with a clean California title, current registration till Nov 2011, and is pre smog. This item is being sold by a charity and we have no history on the car, please bid accordingly. The body appears to be in decent shape; the paint is in fair shape but was repainted from original color yellow. The body has lots of spots with touch up. The body does have multiple dings and scrapes all around. The corners near the wheels wells and around rear window has some signs of rust bubbles (See pics). The rims and tires look fine and all glass is ok. The engine compartment is clean; the trunk is clean as well with good spare tire. The top material is in need of some cosmetic work, some rips were fixed but not done very clean (see pics) the interior is in good shape but will need some repair. The door panels have some rips and handles are fixed with wire. The carpet has some wear but not too bad. The seats are in good shape with no rips only some normal wear. The Dash is in ok shape and radio seems to work fine. The heater seems to work ok but the A/C does not seem to blow cold. The headliner looks to be in good shape as well. This T-bird appears to run ok, we have not driven this item very far however it seems to shift, brake, and accelerate fine. Some of rear tail lights are out but brake lights work fine. We do have all keys for this car. No Reserve, the buyer must pick up this item no later than 7 days after the end of the auction. Please bid accordingly... Winning bidder must contact us within 48 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A non-refundable $500.00 deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of Auction end. If no contact is made within 48 hours we will go forward with the non-paying bidder procedure and sell it otherwise.
