2008 HONDA CBR 1000RR **I am re-listing due to failure to pay by echavez.032773** IF YOU DON'T INTEND TO PURCHASE THIS AUCTION...DO NOT BID!! IT'S THAT SIMPLE. THIS BIKE HAS BEEN STORED FOR A MAJORITY OF LAST YEAR. IT WAS RIDEN ONLY A FEW TIMES IN 2010. A MAJORITY OF THE MILEAGE WAS PUT ON THE FIRST YEAR OF OWNERSHIP. THIS CBR HAS ONLY SEEN RAIN TWICE AND HAS BEEN EITHER KEPT IN A STORAGE UNIT WHILE COVERED OR COVERED AT ALL TIMES WHEN OUTDOORS. THERE ARE MINOR SCRATCHES ON THE EXHAUST, RGT MIRROR, ENGINE COVER AND A PORTION OF THE RIGHT FOOT PEG SNAPPED OFF. THE BIKE WAS LEFT UNATTENDED IN A PARKING AREA. WHEN I RETURNED, THE BIKE WAS LAYING ON ITS RIGHT SIDE!! VERY UPSETTING TO SEE! THE COVER HELPED TO MINIMIZE THE SCRATCHES. THE RIGHT BAR END WAS SCRATCHED AS WELL. I REPLACED THE BAR ENDS WITH "RR" LOGO ENDS.(BOTH LFT & RGT) THE PORTION OF THE PEG THAT BROKE OFF IS THE UNDER SIDE THAT IS USELESS. I BELIEVE IT IS ONLY THERE AS A DETECTION PIECE BEFORE YOU SCRATCH UP UR FOOT PEG AND TO LET YOU KNOW YOU ARE TOUCHING ASPHALT WHEN THE BIKE IS IN A STRONG LEAN. IT HAS A FENDER ELIMINATOR WITH LED TURN SIGNALS, LED LICENSE PLATE LIGHT AND LED FACTORY TAIL LAMP. THE FACTORY FENDER AND ALL FACTORY BRACKETS COME WITH THE BIKE AS WELL. I REPLACED THE REAR SEAT WITH A COWL. THE FACTORY REAR SEAT COME WITH THE BIKE. TWO KEYS WITH KEY CODE ARE INCLUDED. FACTORY TOOLS AND MANUAL INCLUDED AS WELL. REFLECTED VINYL RIM TAME WAS ADDED. THESE CAN BE EASILY REMOVED IF THE WINNING BIDDER CHOOSES. OIL AND FILTER HAVE BEEN CHANGED AND REPLACED. THE CHAIN HAS BEEN MAINTAINED. CLEANED AND LUBED ON A REGULAR BASIS. THE ONLY THING THIS BIKE POSSIBLY NEEDS IS A REAR TIRE. THERE IS WEAR DOWN THE CENTER OF THE REAR TIRE. OTHER THAN THAT, ONLY A RIDER IS NEED. THIS SUPERBIKE STILL GETS GREAT GAS MILEAGE AROUND TOWN. VERY FUN TO RIDE. YOU WON'T STOP SMILING ONCE THAT TROTTLE IS OPENED UP. THERE IS A LIEN ON THE CBR THROUGH USAA. THE WINNING BID WILL PAY OFF THE LIEN.
