1978 Honda Goldwing GL1000 Show Bike. Multiple trophy winner with the most recent being at the Prestigious Barber Vintage Bike Show in October. This bike was completely refurbished in 2010. The list of new parts include: Seat, Guage cluster, Speedometer, Tachometer, Brake lines, Brake pads, Passenger Foot Pegs, Headlight, Tail light, Turn signals, Clutch cable, Battery, Side Emblems, Warning label decals, Both Mufflers, New Bridgestone Tires, Turn signal audiable warning device, timing belts, All hoses - radiator, overflow etc., Fuel lines are all new and they are the original braided style, all clamps are original Honda NOS products, Air filter, Handlebar grips, Mirrors, Fork seals have been replaced and forks have been polished, Fuel tank has been removed , cleaned & treated, Radiator has been removed and cleaned, Carburetors were rebuilt by the renowned Pistol Petes Goldwing Shop www.oldwings.com , Induction tubes & valve covers have been polished to a beautiful luster, timing belt cover is chrome plated, numerous nuts and bolts have been replaced with new old stock pieces, every part has been removed and cleaned or replaced. All fluids have been changed including coolant, engine oil, and final drive lubricant. Every precaution has been taken to keep the bike period correct. The bike runs like a sewing machine! This bike can be maintained as a show bike or can be ridden anywhere! The original odometer which is included shows 5500 miles. Upon payment I can store the bike until Sping if necessary or can help with arranging shipping at buyer's expense.
