Vehicle Detail

You are looking at an Ermine White 1964 Corvette with original numbers matching 327/365 horse engine. This car has been garaged for most of it's life and the mileage is believed to be original. This Stingray has received new paint and has been freshened up all around with newly rechromed bumpers, tune up, paint, and many odds and ends it needed fixed to put it back on the road again after it's long hiatus from the road. The body and frame are in good shape and this car would make a great canidate to drive or to do a frame off restoration and go all the way. Please call 714- 2 8 1- 2 1 2 3The paint on the car was just redone with a very good driver quality paint job. The car could easily be taken to an event and enjoyed by the masses on the weekend! You can see as I am driving in the video a guy complimented the car at a stop light. Ermine white is a very good looking color for the Stingray coupe body. All four bumpers were re-chromed and look excellent. The remaining emblems, bezels, door handles etc are all original and are good survivor quality pieces. The doors both lock and unlock with one key. All glass on the car is in good original shape with no cracks or pitting. Some time ago, a previous owner had modified the 64 side vents to look like a 67 as well as the addition of the 427 hood but front clip is original . The hood is an original 427 hood (valued at $1500 alone), which is period correct to match the 67 front side vents. All in all, the car looks great on the road and will look excellent in your collection. The interior of the Vette is all original and is still showing very well. The seats are both in good shape, the drivers side has a tear on the outside bolster and the passenger side has one pencil sized hole in the bottom cushion. Both still look great in my opinion. The original seat belts are still intact and are also in good physical condition. The dash is in beautiful shape and looked to have never been apart! We did have to remove the glove box to get to the the wiper motor in order to make it work, but all the bolts behind that dash were 100% original. In fact everything works on this car with exception of the radio being a bit fuzzy sounding and in need of a cleaning. All gauges in the cluster work, odometer showing 49,657 miles believed to be original based on paperwork we have and the condition of the car. The carpeting appears to be the original as well and is in good shape with no holes or major wear spots. All lights function as they should and headlight buckets open and close quickly. The turn signal canceler works as well. The fan in the dash works, as well as the wipers and horn. Both windows roll up and down as they should and the regulators are tight. The vent wings work but when closing them they are a bit weak. Both doors lock, open and close nicely. Under the rear storage area is the lug nut wrench for the car.Mechanically, the engine is the original numbers matching 327/365 horse engine ready to go. We had the original Holley 4 barrel carburator rebuilt and replaced old fuel lines to be safe. A major tune up was completed covering all the basics and the engine runs great. The original exhaust manifold has a crack in it close to the mount and it will need to be replaced. Also the exhaust pipes are old and should be replaced but can be used as it is with no problem. The tires are brand new and probably have 300 miles on them. The brakes are the original drum brakes and stop the car about as good as drum brakes can. The master cylinder was replaced as well. The transmission shifts beautifully and is smooth, and the clutch engages and disengages with no chatter or problems. The car steers well and feels good on the road. The frame I have inspected on a hoist and it is in good shape overall, it has surface rust, but no serious rust or rot to worry about. The birdcage was clean and didn't have any of the normal rusting found in this area. Please call with any questions and be sure to watch the video as I tried to point out all the details about the car. 714 – 2 8 1 2 1 2 3
