Vehicle Detail
This is a 1966 Mustang Coupe that was a 6-cyl and has been upgraded to a late-model 5.0 (302). It runs and I have the title in hand. This car has been in our family since the late 80’s however I just don’t have the time or the need for the car. Plus, I want to use my garage for a woodshop, so goodbye mustang. Here are a few of the goodies already installed. Late model 302 with low mileage (Hydraulic Roller). Brand new Holley carb, edelbrock intake, ford motorsports e-303 cam, upgraded heads and Tri-Y headers, MSD Ignition and an electric fan. The tranny is a tremec 5-spd with overdrive and cobra clutch kit. Ford 9” rear end with 3.55 gears. Disc Brakes in the front and upgraded suspension. The ENTIRE electrical system has been replaced with ford Motorsports harnesses. Battery replaced October 2010. I have many of the parts needed in order to convert to fuel injection if that is something you are interested in. (I will give you the parts with the car.) Have new carpet/door panels and entire floor has been prepared for interior installation with a dynamat-like sound deadening. Car has GT exhaust tips and the paint was done in 2004, however it has spent less than 10hours in the sun since painting. If you are looking for a show quality car without blemish, this is not the right car for you. However, if you would like a fun classic that looks great, this might be a winner. I am not firm on the price, but I am also in no hurry to sell so low-ball offers will not be accepted. Feel free to email me with any questions, and if we need to set up a time to view the car, I’ll give you my phone number. Please note that the speakers shown in the first picture are no longer with the car. My brother-in-law borrowed them, long term apparently.
