The original Toyota Land Cruiser FJ 60 was available for purchase from 1981 through 1987. It is a front engine four door wagon which has available seating of five to seven. It is well known in the off-roading community for its 4X4 capabilities. The FJ 60 was offered in the following solid exterior colors: Alpine White, Brown, Desert Beige, Freeborn Red, Royal Blue; and in the following metallic exterior colors: Charcoal Gray, Cognac, Gray-Blue, Rootbeer, Sky Blue, Stardust Silver. In contrast to the FJ 62, the FJ 60 exhibits the classic round Land Cruiser headlights which are replicated now on the retro-style FJ Cruiser. The FJ60 is quickly becoming a highly desirable collector car. This one is ready to be restored, which is why I bought it, but a full family with 4 kids and my work hasnt allowed any time to bring this SUV to its full potential. There is no reserve on this auction...HIGH BIDDER WILL GET THE FJ60!!! The Good: 1) In good working conditions and can be used as a daily driver if buyer is not ready to restore. 2) 95% of all vacuum lines just replaced 3) New spark plugs, wires, and rotor 4) New exhaust pipe 5) All gauges are in good working order (fuel gauge is not 100% accurate) 6) All windows and handles are in good working order 7) front seats in good shape 8) All seat belts in good working order 9) 4x4 works perfectly...this thing feels like it could climb a tree! 10) transmission is strong, no indication of slipping or wear 11) headlights, tail lights, running lights, dome light, etc work great 12) relatively low miles considering most have 200K-300K miles 13) dash is in great shape 14) Frame is in very good condition 15) Body is straight...just a few dings 16) Probably one of the coolest looking SUVs of all time Items to Restore: 1) Some minor rust, primarily behind the rear wheels 2) needs exterior paint 3) needs carpet 4) rear seats need recovered 5) needs stereo 6) needs oil pan gasket 7) doesnt like to start when ultra cold 8) needs passenger side mirror 9) fuel filter needs changed 10) horn is not working Terms of sale: Nonrefundable $500.00 deposit via PayPal 24 hours from the end of the auction.
