Vehicle Detail
This mint 1990 corvette convert was bought right off Kerbecks (Pleasantville NJ) new car showroom floor with just 3400 miles back in 1991. It is a fully loaded six-speed with the FX3 way suspension (RPO $1695), Bose gold system (RPO UF1 @ $1219, LTPWS (RPO @ $325) full power, "roll& pleat" red leather (RPO AQ9 @ $1050) and an original 1990 Greenwood spoiler made for the 1990 Vette (a non-RPO $ 1600 dealer installed option, go to "greenwoodcorvettes.com/C4s.html"). Collector’s note: This unique combination of original options most likely resulted in very low production numbers and this Vette could be one-of-a-kind. This classic is perfect for the collector and performance enthusiast. It has never been hit, always garaged and never in the rain with only 28,821 miles. A new set of Yokahama ZR tires (at $1200) keep it stuck to the road. There is $ 2,223 in performance enhancements installed by Sarasota’s premier Corvette shop (original work-slips available). After the work was competed in 1998 and test driven the shop foreman told me it was the fastest 90 he had ever driven. It looks and (almost) sounds stock until you punch it and then you will be most impressed with its great pulling power and absolutely no soft spots through all gears, however this vette has never been raced. The “auto check” score rates this VIN a "64" in a range of 30-62 for similar vehicles! This very sweet-running 90 can easily be detuned and returned to original factory specs for the “purest” collector, however once you drive it, I doubt you will ever consider that option unless you buy it as an investment and not a high-performance ride. This antique is for the collector who wants ZR PERFORMANCE in a CONVERTIBLE. Its great to look at, even more fun to drive and perhaps the sweetest sounding Vette you have ever heard. Don’t miss this opportunity to own a unique Corvette, one you will enjoy for many years.
