I am relisting my 1966 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed. When I listed it before I offered it only with a bill of sale and no title. The title had been lost in a move. I realize that hurt me being able to sell the car and limited the amount of potential buyers that would have bid if I had a title. Well,GOOD NEWS. I have jumped through all the hoops for the state of Texas and I now have a brand new CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME. It cost me a lot of time and money but I hope it will be worth it. Now about the car.I hate to sell it but I have to. It is a TRUE SS 138CODE 4 SPEED CAR. It is 95% completely restored only 40 miles ago!!! I built this car for myself,never expecting to have to sell it. The 396 engine is date correct for 1966 and was proffesionally built. Has a very nice sounding cam. The muncie M21 transmission is serial number correct out of my 1966 El Camino and has the original factory shifter.I kept everything as original as I could. Even has original exaust manifolds. It is duelled out with old school Smithy"s glass pack mufflers. and turn downs. Has an original radio but does not work. Has original steering wheel but horn does not work. Almost everything on the car is new. I installed a special order ALL WHITE interior kit and a complete interior kit from front to back. This car was originally a bench seat 4 speed car. That actually makes it more rare. I chose to put the bucket seats from my 66 el camino in this chevelle. This car has a complete exterior chrome kit new from front bumper to the back!!! The blue carpet looks darker in the photos than it actually is. It is a beautiful bright blue that makes the white interior pop!! I chose to put the white vinyl top on the car. It did not originally come with one. I just like them. The crager ss wheels and tires only have 40 miles on them. The exterior color is Marina blue metallic. The complete underneath of the car and chassis and engine bay was spray painted with black gloss POR-15. That stuff is beautiful and almost bullet proof. I will still have a low reserve for a car of this caliber because I need to sell it.
