Barn find Honda on the block:1978 Honda CM185 TwinStar.................... 185cc parallel twin w/single carb(simplicity in motion) 4 speed trans Electric/kick start Original dual exhaust This bike was stored in a barn in NY state for many years.Hence the low mileage of 14,000.It is stock,and all original.NO mods.NO trash in the gas tank or carb.Starts easy(1 kick usually).Runs smooth.Trans-clutch are excellent. Needs:Tires are dry,and battery will not hold a charge.It still starts super easy.I have not checked the electric starter because of the battery.The chrome is original,and has some pits,but it`s not eat up with rust.Cleans up decent.The paint is original,and faded,and the seat cover has a seam that needs repaired.BUT hey it`s 33 years old and never restored.Did I mention it`s cheap?It is..... Nice original unrestored Vintage Honda.With it`s simple 4 speed trans,chain-drive,and single carb it is a simple easy to maintain bike.Easy easy restoration,conversion to Cafe Racer,or just to enjoy as it is.Install some cheap tires,and a wal-mart battery,and you are on the road.Will do 60 mph,and get 60+ mpg.For what I`m asking you can`t even buy a piece of sh*t used 50cc Chinese scooter.
