Mechanical Condition: The engine runs perfectly, the valves were adjusted to exact specs, the timing chain is perfect, good compression, no oil leaks, clean carburetor, perfect clutch. It starts first kick every time and shifts through all gears with no hesitation or trouble. ZERO issues. The brakes are in great working order with more than 70% life left in the shoes and very good cables. The rear tire is a brand new dirt tire and the front is the ORIGINAL bridgestone trail wing, which goes to show how little the bike has been used. They both hold air but the original front has some age cracking. The electrical system works great, Headlight, tail light, brake light, charging system. Freshly greased bearings and axles and a full inspection for any and all loose or unsafe parts. Cosmetic Condition: The bike has been re-painted, I don't believe it was done with a rattle can but it isn't perfect. It has slight imperfections from fuel spilling on the tank. The tank has no dents but it has the incorrect honda badges There are no "sl70" decals on the side covers The tail light is in good working condition but is slightly sun treated and has a small crack. No broken tabs on the side covers Overall: This bike is a perfect candidate for a legitimate restoration. All the parts are there and the engine is in perfect running order so It would be great as an easy father son project.
