New tires 2 weeks ago!! 2nd owner, had this car since 50K so I know the car inside out. It has been a great car overall. I'm looking to get a larger car for work purposes.This is a very nice fully loaded Taurus SEL. Leather, power sunroof, 24V DOHC V-6, cold a/c, heat works good, power doors,windows, locks, power driver seat, cruise, 6 disc CD changer with premium Ford Mach stereo system, it sounds great and the amp was just replaced! 214K miles, lots of highway miles. Still fires up every time. Has had some overheating issues, may be the head gasket,there also is a squealing noise that seems has been coming and going near on of the belts. The overheating problem is probably due to a head gasket problem. It will most likely need to be fixed, hence the low asking price and no reserve.Right now the temp is fine and its running very good. Has some minor cosmetic knits and scratches, see pics. Little rust in rear tire wells. It runs great with full power, tranny is also running very good. Car would be great for a weekend warrior or mechanic. Recent repairs include: brakes and rotors, water pump, coolant flush, brand new $350 set of tires two weeks ago, rear struts and shocks, front ball bearings, sway bars, ball joints. Whatever needed to be done I had it done and changed the oil religiously, also had almost all hoses replaced. Come and get it!!!!! Good luck bidding.
