I bought this vehicle in 2004 from a gentleman in Utah who had this car in his family since 1967 when his father bought it from the original owner. He then did a major renovation in 1987 and changed the color to silver from the original ruby red. He changed the seats to the pictured color scheme. He added a CD player. He had dual Weber carbs put in it. Otherwise it is all original. I drove it from Salt Lake City, Utah to Reno, Nevada and it did the whole trip without any problem. It was able to hit 70-75 on the highway and climbed the hills well. Since then, it has been in the garage and driven 1-2X/week around town and in the winter kept in the garage. The body is clean. I am selling it as my family has expanded and I just bought a renovated 1977 VW camper and I need the garage space. The car is in the Porsche registry and I have the original sticker and an original workbook and manual that came with the car. This is a true classic that I will dearly miss.
