Vehicle Detail
This vehicle is located in Smithville Tennessee, 37166 ***I have spent more on the loose parts I have for this car than I am asking for it. This car is in restorable condition. Don't miss the opportunity.*** ***I have added two pictures of the VIN and the body tag to help everyone solve the mystery of the unknown Buick Skylark. Any help identifying this vehicle would be greatly appreciated.*** Up for auction is my 1967 Buick Skylark Post Coupe in good restorable condition. Drivetrain: The engine I have for this vehicle is out of a 1967 Buick Wildcat, and it is a 430 cu Big Block Buick engine with 48,000 original miles. I have a new coil, distributor cap, two engine mounts, a fuel pump (just in case) and a flywheel. All these parts are new, and the go with the car. I have a 350 turbo trans that goes with the car also. Body: The body is in restorable condition as shown in the pictures. I have a bunch of new and used parts for this car. New: Fuel Tank, Straps, and Fuel Sender, Body Seal kit for both doors, hood, and trunk, which includes the window fuzzies. I have two rust free used inner wheel wells, hood hinges with springs, some interior items, and exterior trim. I also have four Buick Ralley wheels that go with the car (one is on the driver's front already). This car is somewhat rare as it is a post coupe car. It has the bucket seats, floor shifted automatic, and a coupe back seat. Please make sure to have room in your vehicle for the engine, trans, and all other loose parts. I will assist with loading / lifting the engine and trans, as well as all other parts. The blue colored seats shown on the shelf in the pictures do not go with the car. They are for the '68 Skylark in the other listing. If you have questions, feel free to ask. Usual Auto Banter: Vehicle is sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no warranty expressed or implied. Good Luck with the Bidding! JHMACH1On Jan-31-11 at 18:01:00 PST, seller added the following information: Just for reference, the new gas tank, sender, and straps cost $310.00. The weatherstrip kit with window felts cost $225.00. The hood hinges and springs were $85.00. The rust free inner fenders / wheel wells were $180.00. Buick Ralley Wheels were $250.00 with shipping. I paid $1,600.00 for the car as it sets. I paid $750 for the engine. $175 for the trans. and another $125.00 for misc trim items. New Autozone items: Flywheel was $125.00, engine mounts were $20.00 each, fuel pump was $24.00, coil was $20.00, Cap was $10.00. Grand total: $3794.00 Don't pass this deal up. This is the first '67 Buick Skylark I have ever owned, and it is in pretty good shape!
