1988 Suzuki lt 500 quadzilla

This is a 88-90 quadzilla im not sure of the year but i do know it is not a 87 because it has the extra head stud. I bought this with the intentions of restoring it then found one already done. I put new rings in it, the piston and cylinder were in good condition, it is 87mm (1 over). I put new reeds, spark plug, cleaned the carb and new air filter in it. It has a complete DG exhaust but is otherwise stock. It has a twist throttle with new grips. The quad had been left outside by the previous owner and the plastics are sun faded with stress lines. There is one crack in the RT rear fender. It will need all new brake pads, top motor mounts and the seat latch buy the gas tank. The headlight and all controls are complete but light wont work. The tires are about 50% with aluminum wheels. The quad pulls left when braking i think due to the brake pads. It starts on 2nd or 3rd kick and runs very strong, the carb will need the jetting dialed in because of a stutter in the mid range but otherwise runs well. The frame dose not have any cracks or broken weld that i could find while i had it tore down. This quad would make a great restoration because it is 98% complete or with very little invested you could ride it like it is. I started going thru the quad until i found the other one and stopped investing more time into it except to put it back together to sell. If you have any questions please call me at (843) 385-0415.
