1999 Triumph Legend 900

Triumph Legend 900 triple in nice shape...basically the same as a T-bird with less chrome. About this one, it's in decent shape but not perfect. I bought from the second owner who had it for some years and simply did not ride it...it sat in a large construction warehouse that he owned for a few years so it got bumped around some but the bike has never been down. There are some cosmetic issues here and there but overall it still looks pretty cool...hey, it's a Triumph...if it was cool enuff for Steve McQueen then its cool enuff for anybody! The tank has some scratches but no dents (photos) like I said it wasn't down but the tank was off for awhile when someone attempted a carb cleaning at some point and left it apart so the tank was moved around and subsequently got some scratches but NO dents. Fenders look nice but side covers, which were also off, have some scratches. The color is a beautiful Cardinal Red and the paint looks great other than the scratches. Some of the alloy metals have discolored as well as the tail pipes but most of the chrome is good, there is a 4.5 inch scratch on the left tail pipe from warehouse gremlins (photo)(of the scratch not gremlins). The bike runs like a champ and has no engine or transmission issues. Carbs were just cleaned, new battery installed, oil changed, new plugs. Front fork seals need replaced. Tires and brakes are in good condition. Has a Triumph back rest and luggage rack which alone reatails for about $500 and looks great, there is a very tiny hole in the pad but nothing serious and goes largely unnoticed. Like I said it's not perfect but what it is, is a nice ride, way cool and very reliable with low miles really not evn truly broke in yet. I will accept any form of check but it must clear in my account before I release possession of the motorcycle and title. $500 down at auctions end with the balance due within seven days.
