It has been his wife's car but they recently addopted three more children and can no longer fit in this. He needs a 12 passenger van for the two of them and their 8 kids (9 years old and younger) My brother is a Mechanical Engineer and very picky. So, the interior has not been allowed to be dirty or have any other issues or he just freaks out until it is dealt with. When he originally purchased the Denali he had the front bumper repainted because it has paint chips on it. That is the only paint work that has ever been done on the vehicle that we are aware of. I would be surprised if you were able to find any signs of previous body work because I have a very good eye for that kind of stuff (after 18 years of doing this) and I would have found it. The only point worth noting about the interior would be that some of the paint is wearing off the buttons on the navigation unit. You can still read the labels but it is noticeable because the plastic under the paint it yellow so it shows through. The leather is all in really nice shape. The left bolster on the drivers seat is suprizingly not even beaten down like we usually see them. Carpet does not have even one stain on it. My brother has the molded floor mats that actually slightly go up the sides of the floor panels to very little dirt has been able to get down to the carpet. Headliner and doors and everything else in the interior looks good. I actually bought this truck for my brother at an Auction in Atlanta GA. It was missing the wheels and tires, the head and tail lights, and both the front seat head rests. We purchased a set of used wheels from a local junk yard (came off a 2002 Denali) and installed them on the truck and drove it back. My brother replaced the headlights with factory OEM lights but installed LED tail lights. They have approximately a dozen bulbs in each tail light instead on the standard 2 or 3 so if one burns out your not driving with out a tail light. The head rests were replaced with the factory headrests and that was it. My brother has had to get the oil changed and do other regular maintenance. Last summer he was having an issue with a rough idle when the A/C was on. He took it to Holman GMC in Batavia OH and they replaced a sensor on the engine. It is not due for a tune up until 150K AND as part of my brothers engineering side comes out he puts full synthetic oil and transmission fluid in all his vehicles.
