Vehicle Detail
1986 Chevy Silverado Pickup 4X4 Short Bed Miles are exempt, Engine rebuilt 1 year ago with about 4000 miles on it. No rust, solid body truck. Body work done at dealership bodyshop but ran out of money. Needs some finishing body work to be a show truck and a paint job. Parts on front cap are trimmed in black. Wheel and tires are new with less than 400 miles on them. ($1866.76) New Carb. Interior is nice for this old of a truck, or even a newer truck! It will clean up very nice. It does have two small burns in the seat from a prior owner. No cracks in dash, still soft and in good condition. CD Stereo is included Exhaust replaced when engine was rebuilt one year ago. Lift kit 2 years old (superlift, prior owner). Includes bed liner and diamond plate tailgate protector & bed rail toppers (used). Brand new chrome front bumper and brackets included - never installed. Needs grill, bottom radiator fan shroud - top is installed, fuel switch for dual tanks, breather (factory one is included but has been sitting outside and will need cleaned up and repainted, needs battery tray and a battery, needs a door lock clip to hold the lock in the door, needs weather striping on RH door for window track, I am sure a few other odd and ins may be missing but nothing major. A/C compressor was working but it feels tight now so it may have locked up while sitting at the body shop??? Had cold air, good heat when parked at body shop on November 2009. I just picked it up because I can not afford to finish it. Truck runs great just needs to be finished up. Parts on front cap are on it but nothing is bolted down or aligned for finish painting yet. Can't think of anything else. Trying to be honest here and let you know what you will need to finish the truck. I would love to keep it but I know it will just sit if I do not get it to someone who can finish it. Truck will start and drive up on a trailer. PLEASE READ THIS: I got insurance on the truck and have been driving it for about a month now. Last week it blew tranny fluid out of somewhere and since then makes a little whining type noise when you first shift it into gear, it goes in gear but makes the noise. also the four wheel drive linkage is all out of whack probably from when the bodyshop had the truck completely apart, frame off rebuild. It all worked before the bodyshop and has only been driven for a month since leaving the bodyshop. My dad said it is probably from sitting, the tranny fluid and filter needs changed. You can get in it and drive it down the road, just letting you know that the fluids need changed and the linkage adjusted. If you get here and it will not do as I say or is not what I said you can withdraw from the purchase minus the deposit to cover my listing fee. I am obviously telling you all I know or why in the heck would I tell you the worst part? Honesty is a family tradition here at Traditions Ranch! I am asking what it cost for a crappy one so I feel my price is very fair. Thanks for looking and God Bless you all.
