Vehicle Detail
Body condition: is good. needs new paint in order to show the car. it has a few small dimples that are not very noticable, and minor surface rust by corner of hood @ windshield, and left rear corner of trunk. No other rust found in frame, body or floor panels. Drive train: stock engine and transmission. car runs good. I drive it back and forth to my 2nd home 150 miles in one direction, and around town. I put 1500 to 2000 miles a year on the car. Car drips little or nothing. Interior: is good+ . I put new seat covers on car. and new Pontiac floor mats.Carpet is faded or grey but good. Headliner pieces need replaced to show, but good for daily driver. ditto carpet and liners in hatch back. Modifications: Air conditioner has been pulled off of engine. Rear end has been replaced w/Camaro 5 speed posi-traction. Improvements I made: Rebuilt leaking power steering pump. Replaced radiator. Replaced window weather stripping on doors. Installed new seat covers front and rear. Installed new front tires. Repaired side shifting plate on transmission, and inspected good. (Stock Saginaw) Goes with car: Nice leather storage bags for take-off sun roof panels, both sides. Repair and maintenance book. Parts books. Silver Decal package. Some small parts. I purchased the car from a private party, who I believe bought the car at an auction in Portland, OR. I believe the car to be from Portland. I've had the car for 2-1/2 years. Needs: Hatch cylinders bleed off, head lights always work, but collapse irregular automatically. (I have to manually close 1/2 the time) The radio plays, but it needs a new tape deck. I like: handling and steering. The car is fun to drive.
